This quilt is good for using up a range of fabrics that you bought to go with feature fabrics but are not sure they match. I would suggest you throw them in anyway. The stack and slash blocks look great with a bit of clash or difference. Try using some you really like with a couple you are not so sure of. The least favourite fabrics will not dominate and will look different depending on what they are next to and how much is in each block. Mix a range of busy fabrics with some less busy such as tone on tones or hand dyes. Just remember to keep to some sort of theme or colourway. Use the colours in your feature fabric to link to the colours in your stack and slash blocks.
